Galloway Family Farm was founded by our beloved Grandmother Emma Lee McDaniel-Galloway circa 1940 in the “Old Colored Neighborhood” located in the Palfreyville Subdivision of St. Martin, Mississippi.  Emma was born the granddaughter of slaves in 1903 in Letohatchee, AL.   She faithfully taught her family and lived by her and our farm motto: “Always Plant Fruit Bearing Trees, Always Plant a Garden and Always Raise Animals on YOUR LAND; YOU may not eat what YOU want to… but YOU will never see a hungry day!"  My grandmother instilled this motto in her son, my dad, Calvin Galloway Sr., who is 79 years young and actively engaged in our farm’s day to day operations and he has and yet instills this motto in his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren collectively and thousands of others along the Costal States and throughout the United States over the last 60 years.  I, Tracy Galloway am honored to be a 3rd generation Organic/All-Natural Farm Manager and a Veteran-Owned Small Business owner.
