Galloway Family Farm Education Center is rooted in legacy, land, and learning. We exist to empower BIPOC communities, youth, and beginning farmers with the knowledge and skills to grow food, care for the land, and build resilient futures. From hands-on agricultural training to food access initiatives, our center is a hub for healing, education, and connection—where the soil teaches and the community grows.

Garden-to-Table Cooking Classes – Teaching families how to cook healthy meals using produce from the farm.

Our mission is to cultivate agricultural knowledge, self-reliance, and food justice within historically marginalized communities through education, mentorship, and sustainable land stewardship.
this work is deeply personal. It’s more than a mission—it’s our heritage. Our founder was raised with his hands in the soil and a heart full of purpose. The farm is where he learned the values of hard work, care, and collective responsibility. Today, he carries that torch forward by building a place where future generations can grow—literally and figuratively.

We envision a world where every person—regardless of race, background, or income—has access to land, healthy food, and the wisdom of their ancestors. A world where young people grow with the earth, families are nourished by community, and farming is a path to liberation, healing, and legacy.
